An exotic insect from Asia has been found feeding on ash trees in St. Paul. This insect, the emerald ash borer (EAB), feeds on all ash species, and can kill trees in 1-3 years. The presence of this insect has not yet been confirmed in Washington County. Click here for some information about EAB.
